Keeping with the Christmas theme, these are some other scrollsaw ornaments.

orn6.jpg

This set of four ornaments tells the Christmas story from Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem (mahogany), the shepherds tending their flocks (walnut), the birth of Jesus in the stable (maple), and finally the arrival of the wise men (black locust).

Another scene of the Holy Family in the stable, about 3 inches high and made of beech.  If you stare at this one long enough, you might see an angel formed by the open space under the dove.

This simple Nativity is lacewood.  The one to the right is maple.

orn5.jpg

This 3-D Nativity is about 5 inches tall and is made of lacewood.

orn2.jpg

This is one of the simpler scenes made of ash.  All these ornaments are made of thin wood, approximately 1/8 inch thick.
